Job Description
Our well-established, engineering consulting firm is seeking a Civil Designer to support land development projects through technical drafting, site design support, and permit documentation. This role does not require professional licensure , providing a great opportunity for design-oriented engineers or technicians to grow within a hands-on, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with preparation of grading plans, utility layouts, and site design details.
* Produce and revise civil drawings and technical plans using Civil 3D or similar design software.
* Support development of stormwater management, erosion control, and utility design plans.
* Coordinate with engineers and project managers to incorporate client and regulatory feedback.
* Prepare permit packages and technical documentation for municipal and regulatory review.
* Perform drafting and design tasks to support project entitlements and construction documents.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of related experience
* Bachelor's or Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Experience with CAD and Civil 3D (preferred).
* Strong drafting and technical competencies.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Interest in land development site design and permitting (preferred).
* EIT is preferred but not required
