Role Description This full-time, on-site BMW Motorcycle Service Technician role is based at BMW Motorcycles of Seattle in Seattle, WA. The technician is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on BMW motorcycles in accordance with factory standards and safety guidelines. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles, identifying issues, completing accurate service documentation, and collaborating with the service team to ensure efficient workflow. The role also involves communicating clearly with service advisors and customers about findings, recommended repairs, and vehicle status, while maintaining a clean, organized work area and adhering to all dealership and manufacturer procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills applicable to BMW motorcycles or similar vehicles.
Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills for professional, clear communication with riders and internal staff.
Relevant technical training or certification in motorcycle or automotive technology (BMW or other OEM) is beneficial.
Experience using diagnostic tools, service information systems, and following manufacturer repair procedures is preferred.
Ability to lift and maneuver motorcycles safely, follow shop safety protocols, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Valid motorcycle endorsement and a clean driving record are strongly preferred.
All skill levels considered.
Compensation
Pay range 60,000-120,000 depending on experience.
