The Welder - Fabricator at SDC is a detail-oriented individual that is reliable and hard-working to assist in day-to-day welding and operations in our shop.

What You’ll Do:

Weld fabrications using MIG/TIG on Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steels using SDC’s in-house weld shop.
Cross-train and learn Waterjet cutting center and basic milling machine center operations for welding preparation and secondary operations.
Also participates in other duties, including operating press brake.
Diligent workspace cleanliness and weld-shop equipment maintenance and repair as necessary.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

Ability to weld fabrications using MIG/TIG on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
Provide your own specialty tools / toolbox, if needed, in addition to provided equipment.
Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to support overtime, as needed.
