Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative, warm-hearted, and engaging Social Media Content Creator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for strategizing, planning, capturing and sharing the daily life and vibrant spirit of our community through photography, video, interviews, and storytelling. The ideal candidate has a passion for digital media, a genuine interest in working with older adults, and the ability to build meaningful rapport with residents and staff.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the public voice of Ciela and highlight the beauty of purposeful aging. Key Responsibilities:

 

• Conceive and present content strategy ideas to marketing team
• Capture candid and scheduled photos and videos of community life, events, residents, and team members
• Create and edit engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Write compelling captions and short-form stories that reflect Ciela’s values and voice
• Collaborate with the Wellness, Dining, and Programming teams to highlight resident experiences
• Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with key events, holidays, and campaigns
• Monitor and respond to comments/messages in a warm and professional tone
• Ensure content is respectful, dignified, and in alignment with resident privacy and community brand standards
• Stay up to date with social media trends, especially those relevant to intergenerational storytelling and lifestyle content

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in content creation (portfolio or samples required)
• Proficiency in photography, videography, and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Warm, patient, and empathetic demeanor, especially when interacting with older adults
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable
• Experience working with senior communities or lifestyle brands is a plus

Schedule & Compensation:

• This position is 100% in person at our community in Pacific Palisades. 
• Part-time or full-time, with flexibility based on availability and experience.
• Compensation will be based on experience and ranges between $20-$30.
• Some evenings and weekends may be required during special events.
