Job Title: Senior Project Manager (Architecture)

Location (City, State): Greater Phoenix Area, AZ

Compensation: $120,000 – $155,000 annually + discretionary bonus

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a well-established architecture firm in the Greater Phoenix area, to identify an experienced Senior Project Manager. Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple architectural projects with a strong focus on multifamily developments. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guide internal project teams, and ensure projects align with design intent, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations. The role is fully onsite with a structured but flexible work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal project teams
  • Provide leadership across multiple active projects from initiation through construction administration
  • Interpret and manage contractual requirements to ensure alignment with scope and deliverables
  • Monitor design progress to confirm compliance with applicable codes, building regulations, and client standards
  • Conduct detailed drawing reviews and redline documentation using Bluebeam
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination sessions to align budget, timeline, and expectations
  • Review technical documents and specifications for accuracy and coordination
  • Participate in public agency meetings and assist in securing required approvals
  • Conduct periodic site visits to review construction progress and address field-related questions
  • Mentor and support team members with varying levels of experience

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required; professional registration preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive architectural experience
  • Background in client-facing roles with strong knowledge of Type V construction (multifamily/apartment projects required)
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam required; familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD is beneficial
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulatory processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, schedules, and budgets effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Details:

  • Direct report to senior leadership
  • Schedule: Four 9-hour days plus a half day on Fridays
  • Start time aligned with morning project meetings
  • Potential for one consistent remote workday per week after 90 days (not Monday or Friday)
