Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Tempe, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, cloud technologies, and enterprise-level application development. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. The position is hybrid, requiring onsite work three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and internal customers to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain-driven design and test-driven development.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
• Create detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance.
• Support the development of coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines.
• Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions align with long-term enterprise growth needs.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Full Stack Development with 7 years of experience.
• Proficiency and demonstrated experience in the following technologies:
  • Kubernetes and Cloud Experience, preferably Azure.
  • Java Spring Boot.
  • Database and persistence frameworks: PostgreSQL, Data Lake, ADX, Databricks, Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning.
  • Cloud-based development and management: Azure, Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Web Services: REST.
  • Frameworks: Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka.
  • Front-end: Thyme leaf, NodeJS, HTML, CSS, Angular.
  • Build/deployment tools: Gradle, Terraform, Helm, Kustomize, GitHub Actions.
  • Other DevOps Toolchain: Slack, GitHub, Fluentbit, Apache NiFi, Dynatrace, Microsoft Teams, Grafana.
  • Other: Linux/Unix shell scripting, Disaster Recovery.
• Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience in Agile methodologies such as SCRUM.
• Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Experience in handling security vulnerabilities.
• Willingness to support after-hours calls on a rotational basis.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems, CIS/MIS, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

Nice to Have:

• Airline industry experience.
• Experience with AI technologies.

Pay Range: $50 - $55

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
