Job Description

Under the direction of Finance leadership and in close partnership with cross-functional teams, the Senior Financial Analyst provides advanced financial analysis, reporting, and strategic decision support across the organization. This role supports the Director in the development of the annual operating and capital budgets and delivers actionable insights that drive cost containment, revenue optimization, and operational performance.

This position is locally based with a primarily remote (WFH) structure . Will consider out of state remote applicants if candidate meets the criteria as it relates to experience and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, timely financial reports, analyses, forecasts, and pro formas to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Support annual operating and capital budget development, including identification of cost-saving and revenue-enhancement opportunities
• Conduct ongoing and ad hoc financial analyses, benchmarking, and performance monitoring
• Partner with operational and administrative leaders to evaluate financial impact of new or expanded services
• Lead and support financial workshops and performance reviews for leaders and teams
• Provide monthly reporting to Accounting and leadership in accordance with strict deadlines
• Support divisional leadership with financial metrics, presentations, and strategic initiatives
• Independently perform complex financial modeling, research, and data analysis
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong financial, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; strong skills across Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including executive-level audiences
• Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Experience

• Healthcare finance experience strongly preferred , particularly in budgeting, cost management, or financial planning
• Will consider candidates with several years of progressive finance experience outside of healthcare who demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently
