As the firm continues their aggressive growth trajectory, they are seeking a highly strategic and relationship-driven Senior Executive Recruiter to lead executive-level talent acquisition initiatives across the organization. This individual will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and securing top-tier leadership talent to support continued expansion, integration, and long-term business growth. Position Summary:Lead end-to-end executive recruiting efforts for partner, attorney, operational leadership, and other senior-level positions.
Develop and execute proactive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the firm’s growth and M&A objectives.
Build and maintain strong pipelines of executive and specialized professional services talent.
Conduct market mapping, competitive intelligence, and talent landscape analysis to support strategic hiring initiatives.
Source passive candidates through networking, referrals, research, and direct outreach.
Manage all aspects of the executive search process, including intake meetings, sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
Ensure a high-touch, white-glove candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Serve as a trusted advisor to firm leadership and hiring executives regarding market trends, compensation benchmarks, and hiring strategy.
Support talent integration initiatives tied to mergers, acquisitions, and firm expansion activities.
Maintain awareness of market trends impacting professional services, legal services, and M&A activity.
Maintain accurate recruiting metrics, reporting, and candidate tracking data.
Senior Executive Recruiter Requirements:
8+ years of executive-level recruiting experience within professional services environments.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience recruiting within a law firm, consulting firm, accounting firm, or other professional services organization.
Prior experience supporting private equity-backed or acquisition-driven organizations.
Demonstrated experience recruiting senior leadership, executive, partner-level, or highly specialized professional talent.
Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions activity and the talent implications associated with rapid organizational growth.
Experience supporting organizations undergoing significant expansion, transformation, or integration activity.
Proven success managing complex, high-touch executive searches.
Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Strong business acumen and executive presence.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
Ability to operate with a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
Familiarity with legal industry recruiting trends and partner recruitment strategies.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Key Details:
Work Model: Remote, MUST be local to Chicago due to frequency of in-person meetings required.
Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 base with eligibility to earn a bonus
