Position: SAP GRC / S/4HANA Security & Segregation of Duties (SoD) Specialist

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP GRC / S/4HANA Security specialist to support an SAP access and Segregation of Duties (SoD) review and simplification initiative. The consultant will assess the existing SAP security and access model, identify opportunities to simplify and standardize roles, and help design and implement a secure, auditable access model for SAP S/4HANA.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAP GRC, S/4HANA security, Fiori security, role design, and SoD analysis .

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess the existing SAP security and access model.
• Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and identify access risks and conflicts.
• Evaluate existing roles, authorizations, and user access using appropriate SAP security/GRC tools.
• Review security requirements across SAP S/4HANA and Fiori .
• Identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate, and standardize existing roles.
• Design a new simplified, secure, and auditable SAP security model .
• Configure and implement redesigned roles and authorizations.
• Support SAP GRC Access Control configuration and risk analysis as required.
• Review Fiori catalogs, spaces, pages, business roles, and related authorization requirements.
• Work with functional teams to ensure security roles support business processes without introducing unnecessary access.
• Document the new security model, access controls, SoD risks, and remediation approach.
• Support testing, validation, remediation, and deployment of the redesigned security model.
• Ensure the resulting security framework supports ongoing audit and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Security and/or SAP GRC .
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA security .
• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control and SoD analysis .
• Strong understanding of SAP roles, profiles, authorizations, and access controls.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Fiori security and role design .
• Experience reviewing and simplifying complex SAP security models.
• Experience designing and implementing auditable SAP security models.
• Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts and business-process-based security.
• Experience working with functional teams during security design and validation.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with S/4HANA transformation/security remediation projects.
• Experience with SAP GRC Risk Analysis and Access Risk Management.
• Experience with large-scale role redesign and security simplification initiatives.
