About the Role

In this role, you’ll support the operational and financial integrity of Meridian by managing purchasing processes, coordinating travel logistics, and ensuring compliance with funding and regulatory requirements.

You’ll collaborate across departments, helping teams navigate purchasing and travel processes while maintaining strong financial controls and accuracy. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and supporting a mission-driven organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and process purchase and travel requests, ensuring proper approvals and accurate coding
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and organizational financial guidelines (UGG, OMB, and funding requirements)
  • Track budgets and expenses, helping ensure responsible and strategic use of resources
  • Coordinate travel logistics, including registration, lodging, and reimbursements
  • Maintain vendor relationships and business accounts (e.g., Amazon Business, Office Depot)
  • Ensure accurate financial documentation, receipts, and audit readiness
  • Assist with p-card tracking, invoice processing, and payment coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on purchasing and travel processes
  • Contribute to process improvements and internal controls that support efficiency and compliance

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience with at least 3 years in purchasing, finance, or related work)
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas and pivot tables)
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively across teams
