Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor and motivate production teams in a primarily Spanish-speaking environment
• Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and teamwork
• Provide training and development to optimize employee performance and personal growth
• Address and resolve employee issues at the initial stage
• Control process standards throughout various stages including mixing, fermentation, dividing, molding, proofing, baking, slicing, packaging, and coding.
• Monitor and report out on KPIs such as throughput, attainment, labor efficiency, and schedule adherence.
• Continuously improve production processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Analyze product loss (dough, finished goods, packaging) and implement corrective actions

• Monitor downtime and coordinate rapid response to production interruptions
• Partner with maintenance to prioritize and resolve equipment issues

• Utilize problem-solving tools (RCA, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment (bakery strongly preferred)
• Experience leading teams of 30+ employees
• Strong understanding of production processes, KPIs, and operational metrics
• Proven experience driving improvements in yield, waste, and downtime
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, RCA tools)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work the night shift and adapt to a fast-paced production environment
• Desire to relocate to the Sun Prairie, Wisconsin area
