Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Private Chef to provide weekly meal preparation services for one private client in New York City. This is an independent contractor opportunity for a culinary professional with experience serving private households and preparing healthy meals based on detailed nutrition plans.

Responsibilities

• Prepare 21 individually portioned meals per week (3 meals per day, 7 days per week).
• Prepare all meals off-site 
• Follow detailed meal plans and nutritional guidelines provided by the client's nutritionist.
• Source and purchase high-quality ingredients.
• Package, label, and deliver meals to the client's residence twice per week.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality.
• Take clear photographs of all prepared meals prior to delivery.
• Record portion sizes and measurements for every meal.
• Be available for direct communication with the client via phone, text, and email.
• Maintain professionalism, discretion, and complete confidentiality.

• • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Private Chef, Personal Chef, or Executive Chef.
  • Experience working in private households preferred.
  • Current Food Handler Certification is required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and reliably.
  • Must provide at least three professional references from similar private chef engagements.
  • Professional website, online portfolio, or social media showcasing previous work and client reviews is strongly preferred.

Additional Information

• This is an independent contractor position. The selected contractor is responsible for all applicable taxes, licenses, and insurance associated with operating as an independent contractor
