Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Neurologist, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Tacoma, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of general neurology disorders, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.

You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.

To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Neurologist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurologic disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.

  • Full-time (1.0FTE) position based at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA, a 386 bed Level III trauma center.

  • Join one other Neurologist at this location. The new provider will work closely with our team of Neuroscience physicians in a collaborative practice model to provide excellent patient centered care.

  • This is an outpatient only practice with a 4 or 4.5 day workweek depending on preference. There is no overnight, weekend or holiday call.

  • We are offering competitive starting salary guarantees which convert to RVU production after the first year as well as quality incentive bonus opportunity. Job Requirements

Required

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution

  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology

  • Active or eligible license in the state of Washington

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families
