Medical Scribe – Gap Year Program | Central Massachusetts   Pre-Med, Pre-PA, and Pre-NP Candidates | Full-Time, 1-Year Commitment

Since 2016, the Gap Year Scribe Program at Dr. Novikov Wellness and Skin Care has placed graduates into competitive MD, DO, PA, and NP programs nationwide. This isn't a clerical role — it's structured clinical immersion designed to accelerate your documentation skills, procedural exposure, and professional readiness before you apply.

You'll work directly alongside experienced providers in a procedure-based private practice, with one-on-one mentorship that's difficult to find in hospital or large-group settings.

What You'll Do

• Document patient encounters in real time during nursing home and office visits
• Support clinical workflows across wound care, skin surgery, and dermatology procedures
• Master our EMR system for accurate, efficient documentation
• Observe and assist with a high volume of skin related procedures

Who We're Looking For

• College graduate pursuing medicine, PA, or NP — ideally within 1–3 years of application
• Minimum 1-year commitment (mutual investment requires real time)
• Exceptionally detail-oriented, reliable, and self-motivated
• Comfortable with local travel — care is delivered across multiple facilities
• Prior clinical experience preferred; strong academic record and drive matter most
• Holistic review — no GPA cutoff
