Role Overview The principal duties of this position are to perform advanced inspection processes at the Columbus Engine Center. You will master the use of a variety of tooling and measurement equipment to carry out inspection processes, and will troubleshoot the inspection flow process using a range of problem-solving techniques. Excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills are needed in this team-oriented environment. Work location: Onsite, 8801/8987 Macon Rd, Midland, Georgia. Eligibility: U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorised to access information under this programme/contract. No security clearance is required. This is an FAA safety-sensitive position. Key Responsibilities Use a variety of tooling and precision measurement equipment to inspect engine components and validate proper configuration. Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine assembly and maintenance. Meet production and inspection goals for the facility. Complete and review technical documentation, including Fits and Clearances, Engine Inspection Reports (EIR) and SAP records. Review engine package documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support a team-based environment focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Requirements High school graduate or GED. U.S. citizenship, required due to government contracts. A&P Licence, military training, technical training, or jet engine inspection experience. Licences & Qualifications Preferred: A&P Licence or two years' relevant experience. Experience Preferred: turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience, ideally in one or more of disassembly, inspection or assembly. Preferred: ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues. Preferred: CORE Basics and active CORE activity (internal candidates only). Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP. Additional Information Role type: Onsite. Employees in onsite roles work primarily onsite; this includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of the engines. Commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
