Job Insights:

Our client, a large southeastern law firm with a national practice, is seeking an experienced Transactional Lawyer for its Financial Services practice.

Preferred candidates would have multiple years of transactional experience and must have a working knowledge of syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions.

Requirement:

• 2 - 8 years of experience Years post law school Work experience
• JD and active bar membership in Georgia (or ability to waive/seek admission as needed).
• Experience in commercial finance/lending transactions at a reputable law firm.
• 2+ years of experience in finance/lending (for midlevel/senior roles) OR strong finance exposure for junior roles.
• Hands- on drafting experience with core loan documents and ancillary agreements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage closing processes and communicate status clearly.
• Understanding of basic secured lending concepts (collateral, perfection, covenants, events of default, guarantor structures).
• Comfort with transaction management (checklists, CP tracking, version control, deadline discipline).
