Job Description

Cabinet Maker
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Maker to join our team. In this role, you will build and install custom cabinets according to clients’ specifications. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, excellent woodworking skills, and a deep understanding of different types of wood and their properties. Ultimately, the role of the Custom Cabinet Maker is to build beautiful, durable cabinets that meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Must demonstrate the ability and knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment.
  • Must have the ability to read and build from shop drawings and cut lists
  • Selecting the appropriate materials and tools for each task.
  • Cutting resources down to size, as needed.
  • Planning an effective approach to work to ensure that each project is completed on time.
  • Creating standard and custom components of cabinets.
  • Gathering the elements of each cabinet and assembling the final product.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in cabinet manufacturing or related field.
  • Leadership or Management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in painting and staining is a plus.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Overtime is required depending on the workload.
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship.
  • Looking for individuals who are self-motivated, with the ability to execute tasks with a high level of precision and speed.
  • Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift heavy objects.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
