About the Role

AmeriMex Drywall, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Construction Estimator.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Smithfield, NC. This role is primarily office-based and involves reviewing blueprints, performing material takeoffs, and preparing bid proposals for commercial drywall and metal framing projects.

We are willing to train the right candidate.

Important Location Information

• This is an on-site position in Smithfield, NC

• Candidates must currently reside within commuting distance

• Visa sponsorship is not available

What You’ll Do

• Review architectural drawings and specifications
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs using estimating software
• Prepare scopes of work and bid proposals
• Communicate with General Contractors regarding scope questions
• Attend occasional pre-bid meetings and site visits
• Follow up on submitted proposals

Most of your time will be spent working at a computer reviewing plans and building estimates.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
• Organized and deadline-oriented
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Willingness to learn construction drawings and estimating software
• Ability to attend occasional site visits and pre-bid meetings
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred but not required:

• Construction industry experience
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Schedule

Monday – Friday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
