Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Architect
Client: TCS
Location: Rosemead, CA
Bill Rate: $68/Hr
Role Description:
Develop and implement multi-cloud strategies aligned with customer cloud vision and business objectives.
Collaborate with Application Architects and Data Architects to design cloud-based solutions, including selection of appropriate cloud providers and services.
Implement robust cloud security measures and compliance standards to protect data and applications in the cloud.
Strong understanding of security governance models with hands-on implementation knowledge of security benchmarks such as CIS and FedRAMP.
Plan and oversee the migration of applications from on-premises environments to the cloud.
Analyze existing on-premises application architectures and determine the most effective cloud migration approach.
Design Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environments using Terraform.
Design and implement disaster recovery and high-availability solutions in cloud environments.
Create detailed technical design documents and Visio architecture diagrams.
Maintain a strong understanding of emerging technologies in Cloud and AI.
Experience working in multi-cloud environments.
Possess an Architect-level certification.
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with microservices-based environments, including Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of networking and routing in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Understanding and hands-on experience with DevSecOps practices.
