Overview:  

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Keyholder to join its Fashion Valley store in San Diego, CA . As a Keyholder, you will play a critical role in the daily operations and security of the store, managing opening and closing procedures, ensuring the safety of the premises and merchandise, handling cash, and providing leadership support to the team in the absence of management. You will act as a bridge between frontline staff and management, upholding operational standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

• Execute all opening and closing duties, including security protocols.
• Prepare and secure the store for opening and closing, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain physical security of the establishment and protect valuable assets.
• Monitor and ensure security system functionality.
• Collaborate with management to prevent property misuse or theft.
• Oversee and assist with daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and merchandising.
• Provide leadership support and manage store operations in the absence of managers.
• Troubleshoot immediate operational issues and ensure standards are met.
• Support stockroom maintenance and organization.
• Maintain daily operational standards.
• Process sales transactions accurately and manage cash handling procedures.
• Prepare bank deposits and reconcile daily cash registers.
• Oversee returns and exchanges, flagging inconsistencies.
• Provide an exceptional shopping experience to foster customer loyalty.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally and promptly.
• De-escalate conflicts and ensure customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail setting.
• Proven reliability, dependability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset, with the ability to calmly resolve and de-escalate issues.
• Proficiency in managing cash transactions, preparing deposits, and ensuring register accuracy, coupled with meticulousness in financial and security procedures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage tasks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure operational efficiency, alongside the ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
• Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and basic computer literacy.
• Ability to effectively display product knowledge to assist customers and drive sales.

SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER:  

The compensation for this position ranges from $19 - $20 (hourly) . The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
