Join Our Incredible Team at Our Newest Kitchen in Portland!

We are looking for an energetic and service-oriented Breakfast Server to join our growing team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences.

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for guest service: someone who greets every guest with a warm smile, proactively offers the menu, and stays attentive to their needs: whether it’s a water refill or suggesting something extra to make their morning better. The ideal candidate will combine this hospitality mindset with strong multitasking skills and a professional approach to every interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Barista Excellence: Prepare and serve coffee and espresso beverages to company standards with precision and care.

  • Deliver food and beverage orders to guests promptly, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and attended to throughout their meal.

  • Ensure all orders are packed, quality-checked, and delivered correctly (room service or off-premise).

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all sanitation and food safety standards are met.

  • Manage waste responsibly, log production information daily, and complete opening/closing duties as assigned.

  • Handle guest phone inquiries professionally, assist with orders, and communicate concerns effectively to management.

  • Collaborate with cooks, runners, and hotel staff in a respectful and efficient manner.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least one (1) year of barista experience is required.

  • Availability: Weekend availability is a must.

  • Certification: Current Food Handlers or Serve Safe certification required.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, a warm personality, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours and lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Plus: Experience as a Food Expeditor or in a fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus.
