The Account Director is a recognized subject matter expert and lead resource for the Approved Treatment Center (ATC) Account Management team supporting Cell and Gene Therapies (CGT). This role is responsible for driving the expansion of the treatment center network, building strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex onboarding and growth initiatives. The Director mentors others, influences strategy, and is accountable for achieving KPIs in network expansion, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth. Additionally, s/he is responsible for resolving escalated issues and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Approved/Authorized Treatment Center (ATC) Expansion Leads the identification and pursuit of high-value opportunities for network expansion, leveraging deep expertise in cell, gene, and advanced therapies. Establishes and nurtures executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, and serves as the primary escalation point for complex negotiations and strategic partnerships.
Onboarding and Account Growth Leads large-scale onboarding and process improvement projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, finance, product, customer success) to ensure seamless and efficient implementation. Develops and executes strategic account plans driving measurable growth and expansion.
Relationship Management Acts as the relationship manager for all ATC accounts, fostering trust and rapport at multiple stakeholder levels up to Vice Presidents. Proactively identifies evolving customer needs and leads the development of tailored solutions. Drives continuous improvement initiatives and mentors less experienced account managers in best practices for relationship management and customer satisfaction.
Collaboration & Communication Leads cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects and initiatives. Serves as a mentor and resource for internal partners, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing. Communicates key metrics and business insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders, driving data-driven decision-making.
Education & Training Provides insights and inputs and facilitates training and enablement programs for customers and internal teams. Acts as a subject matter expert for CGT solutions, providing thought leadership and guidance on best practices and technology adoption.

Minimum Requirement
Critical Skills
Extensive experience in strategic account management within healthcare, biotech, or life sciences—ideally involving complex, high-value partnerships.
Proven success in network expansion initiatives, particularly in launching or scaling treatment centers or similar healthcare delivery models.
Experience leading cross-functional teams across legal, finance, product, and customer success to deliver large-scale onboarding and growth programs.
Track record of driving measurable growth and customer satisfaction through strategic planning and execution.
Hands-on experience resolving escalated client issues and navigating complex negotiations with executive stakeholders.
Prior experience in CGT (Cell, Gene, and Advanced Therapies) environments or similar regulated, innovation-driven sectors.
Experience mentoring and developing account management talent, fostering best practices in relationship management and service delivery.
